What is an Apprenticeship?Apprenticeships refer to on-the-job training leading to nationally recognised qualifications. The length of an Apprenticeship varies depending on prior skill levels of the Apprentice, the qualification being obtained and industry sector. Generally, Apprenticeships take between 6 and 12 months to complete.
Who are they for?
You can use Apprenticeships to train both new and existing employees. Apprenticeships are open to all ages over 16, whether they are just leaving school, have been working for years or are seeking to start a new career.
